sleeve and piston
how do u take the sleeve out of a trx 2.5 engine. ive been trying to do the how to on the traxxas website and i couldnt get it out and where is the bottom of the sleeve.

okay, first take it completely apart. then put a zip tie into where the exhaust connects to the motor. then use the fly wheel and push the piston up. i thought this was rediculas but i tried it and it works. it pushes the sleeve up with the piston. just give it a try it works.

I used the top of a pen and pushed the bottom of the sleeve up until it came out...then the piston just disconnects easily from the crankshaft...the bottom of the sleeve is the bottom of the sleeve, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to look and find it!
