LOWERED T-MAXX
Has anyone adjusted the T-Maxx shocks to the Top inboard and lower outboard holes which would lower the T-maxx by just a little bit. Also is it worth the hassle or does it help at all with cornering?

Anything to help lower the center of gravity on the tmaxx is good. Looking at the front and rear of the truck your a arms should sit level. MAybe slightly higher in the rear but both pretty much level.

AWESOME TRUCKS GUYS! Thanks for the input and PICS. Is it ok to run a single stock revo shock per axle or do I need 2 per axle?
Thanks Again

I think those shock towers he has are from Full Force RC (www.fullforcerc.com) They make them for the savage too I think.

RE: LOWERED T-MAXX
hi guys
the shocks are the 3racing revo shocks and the towers are fast lane machine (flm)...kemp yes the rear tower is the same as front and that is the tekno wing mount the towers come pre drilled and threaded for the installation of a wing mount but you need to do a slight mod to get the tekno mount to fit...i purchase all my fast lane machine items from this guy>> addicted2rc << from the usa excellent service and fast shipping +the cheapest (which is nice)

hi kemp
the slight mod is really hard to explain so i'll try my best....in the shock towers thewre are 4 threaded holes the wing mount only fits 2 of the 4 holes with a bit of persuation i mounted mine to the 2 upper threaded holes and then made a flat bracket for the other 2 holes which are higher than the shock tower then when you tighten the bolts the "homemade bracket " clamps itself to the rear of the shock tower and actually holds up pretty well hope this has helped.........

RE: LOWERED T-MAXX
Awesome looking maxx stoke! I'm thinking about getting some 1/8 buggy shocks to go on mine, and some white axle carriers w/ oversized bearings, rpm makes 'em! I'm planning on making an all white and chrome (aka silver) maxx!
Lower, you maxx by taking the pre-load spacers off the shocks, and try to make the shocks more horizontal, place them on the inner upper hole (shock tower), and the lower outer hole (a-arm), however, it will affect your handling, and don't do any big jumps w/ this set-up either...but cornering is dramatically improved!
jet- you can run one shock per corner, just realize that the shocks are plastic, and the truck is very heavy...as long as you stay onroad, meaning no big jumps you should be alright. Otherwise you'll need some 80wt oil, if you plan on running 4 shocks...
