i went 17mm hexes,hpi hellfire 1/2inch offset rims,and zombie maxx tires.turned out to be a real nice set up for my revo

what about those huge rims and tyres you can get i don't know what they are called ... will they fit on a 17mm hex ?

i have 17mm aluminum hexes, proline dish wheels and proline badlands. they had a package on www.impaktrc.com that saved you some money...im not sure if they stil have it.

Same here...just placed and order for this set at my lhs...pro-line badlands (going to put the molded foams in them), black pro-line dish rims (offset) and ofna aluminum 17mm hexes. I could save some $$$ if I ordered from Impakt but as it is I have been waiting almost a month now for an order from them to show up (I live in Canada) and I would like to try these tires out before it snows! The only thing to watch out for if you go to a 40 series rim and tire it will most likely be heavier which = little less performance. My lhs said to stay away from the 23mm hexes...harder on the axle carriers...plus you have many more rims to choose from in the 17mm. I almost ordered the Zombies but everyone seems to really like the badlands...worth giving them a try and keep my 40 series bowties on Mambos for the track.
