well i took my engine mount off and its worse then i thought and i think it is the reason it has been eating spur gears ... if anyone knows of a stronger one it would help me alot ... i have only had the revo a month and i don't want to replace the mount every few weeks

i've never broken a motor mount, and I don't think there is an aftermarket motor mount for the revo. make sure you locktite all your screws when you put it back together.

Yes I have broke 2 I know that sounds bad but I'd rather break a mount than something else though

I had the option of buying an Integy one, but decided to stick with the stock one. I wouldn't buy 2 unless it is a long drive or wait to get parts

I have a red bottle, it's formula 262, and it works great for me, I use it for every job

i use loctite formula 243, it's got the heat resistant abilities of red loctite, but it isnt as strong so there less chance of stripping the hex head on the screw and your hex drivers, i don't think you need to use red loctite on our rc' just overkill.

Well its seems fine, I have only ever stripped screws from using crappy hex wrenches, and the 262 was the only stuff the local shop had

Daveorevo using a billet motor mount would cause something else to break instead. it would be nice if the Traxxas brand was a made a little stronger tough. maybe a better casting process or better aluminum.

I'm not sure if you can get a billet motor mount for a revo never looked for one, I wouldn't use one anyways prefer for it to break instead of taking a chance on bending chassis or damaging motor or other parts,
