RE: OFFICIAL REVO THREAD- EVERYTHING REVO
Hey guys My revo 3.3 is running really good and I am happy but it tops out to fast I thinks it could go faster. The drivetrain is stock except for a center diff, are the wide ratio gear sets worth it I would like a higher top end.

I'm not sure about the wide ratio gear set I was wondering if there was any benefit to using them myself, you could try a different spur gear, clutch bell combo to get a little bit more top end when I was running the 3.3 I used stock clutch bell with 36 & 38 tooth spur gears I thought it was fairly fast on the top.

RE: OFFICIAL REVO THREAD- EVERYTHING REVO
I had a drive today, she was running good, a little rich on the low and top, but I decided to leave it just because I was fine with it. I had a ramp setup out the front, was warming it up before i was going to get pics & video, and did the first backflip for the day, hit second gear then hit the ground, then I had no throttle. I'm like F***. then I take the body off, see red optidrive light and was happy that it was just low battery cutout. I will take poser pics later or action pics tommorrow.
Also, I just bought a venom 300mah battery pack for the EZ start, I used to use a 1800mah I think, and this venom one will spin the engine over twice as fast, and wont get stuck at TDC like the other battery pack always would IT IS A MUST HAVE FOR THE EZ START!!!

RE: OFFICIAL REVO THREAD- EVERYTHING REVO
Here they are. Also, I had one of my pet rats out, and they are defintely NOT camera shy. I put my extrem Rc mags underneath so my bed wouldn't get dirty. Please post your opinions.
PS, the body is off an old TT-01, cut up then put on my revo.
PPS, i remebered that i took pics of the carb and the end of the air filter, it seems to be leaking straight fuel, is this because it was too rich? It has happened a couple of times before, but this time it is alot, like a small puddle on the servo box.

RE: OFFICIAL REVO THREAD- EVERYTHING REVO
Hey So Cal, YES I HAVE A NEW REVO. I just got some extra tires and rims, 2 SETS. My dog got the original Talons. A few nips when I was running it and 3 were all torn up. So I got a new set of original 3.8's and a set of big joe 40s for some fun in the snow.
Can you give advise on a pipe? Single or dual? Brand? also an air filter, stock one clogs too fast.
Im also waiting on some new parts and body to get it going, my nephew clipped a tree with it
Thanks later!

Ive heard that some dual pipes don't pressurize the tank enough, so you have to put inserts in them to give them better power and more pressure. MORE PICS FROM MORE PEOPLE

RE: OFFICIAL REVO THREAD- EVERYTHING REVO
So what do you think of my revo? Do you reckon it would look a bit like a baja buggy with paddle tyres? Is there anything in the way of setup which you would change? I might take it to the BMX track tommorrow, if so ill hopefully get some video and pcitures.

RE: OFFICIAL REVO THREAD- EVERYTHING REVO
I just came in from a good drive, just out the front of my house. I had a ramp I made out of boards, about 1m long, and sat it so the very end was 50cm off the ground, and got some easy backflips, and 4 metre launches. i was going to get picsand vid, but camera batteries were flat and I didn't have spares. Another day thn. Also, today was the end of the school holidays so she won't get as much running as she has over the last two weeks. Anyway, anyone else got pics/info.

RE: OFFICIAL REVO THREAD- EVERYTHING REVO
how did you manage to break the carb? with that roll bar?
Thanks for that vid, very good, just need some more practice(no offence)
I'm going to buy a new body and tyres in a few months. I'm already starting to rip up that one.
