I was out bashing my Revo the other day and I managed to break a shock shaft, and rip off the rear wing so I decided to do a few upgrades...

-Titanium shock shafts
-purple springs in the rear
-pink springs up front
-55wt trinity shock oil

Then I made a custom mounting bracket out of some aluminum, and made a brace using a Traxxas red pushrod to brace the rear wing/body mount post, now its time to take it out jump the hell out of it and see how it holds up!!!

Here are some pics, tell me what you guys think!!

Check this out. I know alot of people that have tried those kind of pipes and I get everything from "its the best thing ever" to "meh........." One thing for sure is that the trinity pipe is a decent pipe for the revo. Check out this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UdFs1gSix4

I agree, if you drill out the stinger just a hair it works even better.

First im pretty sure traxxas has all the manuals on their site. But if you don't have fast enough internet to download them then basically all the optidrive system does is make sure its ok for the truck to shift into reverse and it has no fail safe. As soon as you learn to drive i suggest taking reverse off the truck all together. Less rotating mass=fasterness
Good luck with the truck

I have a revo with a 2.5 in it and for some reason it wont stay running
Its tuned good even pulled out the temp gauge
new glow plug
air filter good

But it is leaking some oil or grease or something around the flywheel so i think the engine bearings are going
Who agrees with my diagnosis
or is it something else??

Ok..... I got my picco and im already having trouble with it the funny thing is its still brand new never been started. The carb is really hard to slide if you push on the lsn it moves fairly easy but as soon as you push on the rod that the throttle linkage hooks up to it wont move, its like its binding up or something. Have any of you guy seen this happen fefore?

Ok I have a fix to the sticking carb problem. I took it all apart and sanded the inside of the carb where the slide goes through and then polished it with my dremel. Then I took some 2000 grit paper and lightly sanded the "roughness" off of the slide then sanded down all the sharp edges just a tad where the idle slot and the other machined lines are. Then I gave it a quick polish and away she went. Its almost like an os carb now nice and smooth. But I am having some problems getting the throttle bell crank to work right. Do any of you guys have any tips on making this build work? Im using the traxxas bb mount with the picco jl red dot.

nah thats alright. I know there is more power with brushless but at the same time its not cheap and I like to be able to run for long periods at a time and cant afford that many batteries.
