in reply to Clymer: ^^^ Also though about it, but how do you get the power over to the spur gear which is located 1/3 of the distance between the two engines, near the left engine?

The t-maxx have a very large spur gear I have seen which this was so easy!

why don't you get that new emaxx tranny, it would be really easy to mount two motors, and it would take alot less engineering. I was thinking that you could mount the engines at a slant, to keep the CG low, and keep them from sticking out of the top. kind of like this: \^/ with the ^ as the tranny and the slashes as the engines of course there was one guy on here that had a maxx with 4 enginse, a savage with two, and some others I think. can't remember his name though. do a search, you might find something.

Very interesting thank you! How much torque can the e-maxx tranny handle? <---- 2.5 more torque than ORIG e-maxx, looks promising.
Is it a pure drop in?
I need to figure out gear ratio.

Question 2, how much can you slant the engines without affecting them somehow?

Revo 3.3 Stock final drive: 23.85/16.54
E-maxx Stock final drive: 28.91/17.95
NewE-maxx Stock final drive: N/A / 18.67

Could work out.

There is no disc-brake thingie!! [:@]

The e-maxx tranny sits in front whereas revo tranny sits in the middle->rear. [X(]

If you need any prototype parts, at school we have this machine were you can design your part and it will make it out of plastic that s a little bit stronger than stock plastic, the only down side is that it will cost about 20 bucks.

The engines can sit side by side if you have big clutchbell gears. I have a 40T spur which is maximum and 15T SPUR.
With current 15+40 config the engine mounts will intersect each other.

Looks good but your gonna have to switch to alum shocks ends other wise they are gonna melt and your not gonna have alot of room for a fuel tank from what i can see in that pic.

Iam currently doing an experiment turning the shocks backwards out to the rear of the chassis to get them out of the way.

OK, the tranny goes forward 10mm and the suspension points backwards, iam making a prototype of the suspension and gonna do some test how it performs.

If this works out. The enigines can sit side by side with 40T/15T and some twiddling with the engine mounts..

PIcs later today..
