how does one get CAD models for the traxxas nitro toys?
Any one knows how to get CAD (Computer Aided Design) model for the traxxas nitro rc & rc engines?.
It is much easy to test changes on a computer model . one can make custom changes in it & approve its reliability without harming the real model. It also serves as a learning source.
any links related to downloading CAD models from RC world r welcome.

If you are looking for the software to make models of Traxxas cars and trucks, or you want to make option parts, there are a few basic free pieces of software available, including Google SketchUp and Alibre Design. A professional software will cost you anywhere from $200 to $10,000.
If you are looking for completed CAD models of Traxxas cars and trucks which other people have made, I doubt they will share those models with you for free as it takes an extremely long time to make a full car. I'm currently working on a model of the Savage, and it takes a lot of careful measuring and long hourse to get it done.

Dear SpikeX,
I am using Unigraphics-4 (UgNx-4) for designing. I am currently working on building a petrol working 1:8 scale harley evo engine & a monster offroader (length=36 in , bredth=20 inches, height = 13 inches )
