Default I spy Vantage Racing carbon fiber a-arms for the Revo!

Did anyone else notice the little easter egg Van tage left us? I think we will be seeing some carbon fiber a-arms shortly. I will include some pics of them too. Also there is some aluminum thing on the chassis... maybe a transponder mount?

im not sure about that...id rather use rpm a arms that flex and dont break, or break a different part of the truck

Vantage made those OVER a year ago.... there was pics on Vantages site back then... not sure if they are still there or not.
Not sure why they still havent been produced, but i really dont care because i dont want "super stiff" carbon fiber a-arms anyway..... I want my arms to absorb shock....== RPM!

Not to mention im sure they will be super $$$

the lil thing you think is a transponder mount it to prevent so much flex on that part of the chassis....

Just talked to Vantage today and they said they are working on them but they are not a forefront project. I forget his exact words. Also there new brace will not come out in carbon (sniff).

carbon fiber is good for its strength to weight ratio so if you want to save weight its a good thing but it costs alot and if like me you don't care about weight then i could think of heaps of other stuff spend my hard earned on ... like a foam pit for my ramp maybe

Carbon is NOT the ideal choice for a basher/non-racer

but those of us who are WAY too into the whole thing and race they're trucks (ME) love this stuff.

I spend just as much time on my motorcycle as this truck (too much) and you can guess what that's got a lot of... you guessed it Carbon fiber!!

ill stick with my RPM arms untill i hear if these hold up like the RPM ones do. knowing that they are CF i doubt they would hold up like the RPM ones do.

Yea...I'll stick with my stock chassis and mod it to save weight before I run a CF chassis. I've heard of far too many stories of guys racing with them and snapping them easily. Especially now that it's cold out those CF parts are going to break even easier(My local track is indoors but it's only about 45 degrees in there).

+1 to that man.... i have broken every type of a-arms avalible for the Revo multiple and RPMs are the ONLY arms that have not broken! Plus RPMs are very flexable and help absorb hard impacts......Carbon does not... I could NEVER see carbon fiber being a good choice for a-arms..... Maybe they would be ok on perfect "blue-groove" but on anything else they would get chewed apart by the rocks, dirt and debris.
