It really looks stock except for the trinity pipe and fail safe unit, it's clearly used and it depends on shape of engine i wouldn't trade over $250 for it but if the motor is in good shape i might check the compresion and watch it run if you can but, i would just buy new to be safe.

Well, how much do you think your computer is worth? Considering the price of computers these days, the guy getting the computer would be on the better end of the deal. Especially used, Traxxas trucks dont usually have all that great of a resale value, and definentaly being almost completely stock.

I wouldn't trust any truck that looks so clean

the guy clearly washed the hell out of it in order to sell it

that revo might have a 3.3 in it, but its not a 3.3 chassis, its a 2.5R chassis with a 3.3, I think I saw either that one or one with the same parts on it.

well the computer would sell for over 500$ but im also getting a 30 gig ipod nano, bose ipod docking station ,bose ipod earphones all his tools ,fuel can that has only like 3 tanks out of it

and a pos bandit lol hes throwin it in if i oc the computer for him

also i build the computers so i have way less than 500$ into the computer

what should i lookk for on the revo i know about compresion from my other car (and im a auto tech lol) but what parts on the revo are known to break or have problems

so its worth 250 if it runs good looks good if so im geting a even trade with the ipod

the computer is a4000+ amd athlon 64 dual core 1.5 gigd ram 160 gig hd dual layer dvd drive geforce 7200 gs 256 pci e

so what does that equal to in worth and do u mean the alum shock ends and steel spur are aftermarket hopup's reverse is not standard on the revo right

i checked amazon and other place and saw they sell new 400-499 and a new ipod is like 200$ so half of 400 is 200 and half of 200 is 100 thats 300 $ worth of trade right well the computer i built cost me less than that to buld if u dont count labor

so if everyone agrees that the revo is worth at least 200$ (if its in good shape that is )im going to go thrue with the trade

also what are must have parts for the revo i dont need reverse lol

lol yea id much rather be driving a rc but i build and sell custom gaming /media computers for a second income and since the holidays are here and cash is tight i placed a ad on the local craigs list offering a computer for trade for gas rc/ old motorcycle/ or a 360

so far no 360[] had a few offers for motorcycles but none ran got one for a pos knock off nitro rc like my smartch winner pro and this guy offering his revo i was wanting to trade one of my single core comps a 3200+ 2.0 with all same specs as the one im tradeing this guy but he wanted dual core so i asked him what els he had and he said he had a almost new 30 gig ipod so i bit lol (my gf really wants an ipod )

the main difference in the 2.5r and 3.3 is the 3.3 chassis is 30mm longer for better handling. and the 2.5R is discontinued, the one in the picture above, I'm 99% sure its a 2.5 with a trinity pipe, TRX 3.3, and it also looks like I see steel CVD's but not sure.

from looking at the photos, as others have stated, this truck is pretty much stock. The only thing I can see added are the Trinity pipe and steel spur gear. That engine is the stock 3.3, it's not a 2.5. I do not see steel CVD's..I see stock.

I would ask to see it started, and run at least a tank of gas before you do any trade. If it runs well and performs well, I'd say it's worth $275.00.

that is not the stock enigne, if it is then he changed the chassis to the sorter one, which dose not make since. is a 2.5 with a 3.3 enigne in it.

I think it has steel CVD's, but not a 100% sure.

Also, not that it makes any difference it has the Traxxas Chevron tires and the trx 3.3 on the 2.5 chassis I also don't see steel cvds.

Good, since your getting the revo go ahead and get the a full range of spur and pinion gears to gear it for different runs, and get the close ratio gear set.

that is a heck of a deal. The revo is worth an easy 275. The ipod is worth 150, tools and other items at least another 50. Considering your cost on the computer i would say you got the better end of the deal. EVEN if you need a new motor you could buy one for 130 bucks and then it would be an EVEN deal in my eyes. GOOD LUCK!

if youre equally intrested in the ipod as you are with the revo, i would make the trade. but if your more concerned with getting a revo then i would sell the computer for whatever you can get (assuming its over 500) and just buy a new revo 3.3; which you can get for 485 free shipping on ebay.
