RE: My custom traxxas stadium trucks
oh thats not what i meant by "slipping" i meant do the tires slide like out of control, or do they stick nicely on the track and the truck has good handling?

RE: My custom traxxas stadium trucks
well guys i got my dad into the rc hobby, today we went to my lhs and he bought himself a traxxas rustler brushless vxl, and a 7 cell 4200 nimh battery, we clocked the speed on its first run and it was going 52.7 mph, and he lets me use it whenever i want! i will soon post some pics of it on my thread with my xl5 rustler and xl5 pede. and also my pede will no longer be an xl5 pede after next saturday, my dad is buying me a whole brushless system to put in my pede

here are some updated pics of my rustler xl5, my pede xl5,and my dads rustler vxl brushless. i know the date is all messed up cuz i forgot to set it on my camera. oh and sorry about my kitten she saw the strap on the camera dangling and jumped on the table and attacked it so she got in the picture lol . oh and if you guys noticed from my very first pics of my trucks i blacked out the wheels on the rustler xl5, they are no longer red chrome and black, just black and chrome.

RE: My custom traxxas stadium trucks
well its finally saturday and i got my traxxas brushless motor/esc combo. right after my dad put in the motor and esc we went to my local dirt off road track and the pede was tearin up the dirt. my dad was also racin his rusty vxl, we cant race against the slower elecs that have brushes so we are categorized in the electric rocketships category. every half an hour the nitros and gases get the track then it switches to electrics, then before the track closes there is a free for all....race at your own risk, for example if your little rc10 is crushed by a huge traxxas revo then too freakin bad lol. well here are some pics of my pede with the whole traxxas brushless setup. and i dont know why but since the pede got the brushless power system it got 10 times louder than when it had the titan 12t motor and xl5 esc, i know its faster but it sounds like a growling beast when it accelerates, do all vxl pedes sound like that? can anyone give me a clue or answer as to why it is that loud, one of my neighbors actually came outside to see what the noise was, theres no problems in performance, nothing is loose, idk what it could be [X(]

RE: My custom traxxas trucks
oh and one more question, should i buy a lipo battery and charger, is it worth it to buy them for my vxl pede and rusty? becuase the guy at my lhs told me that a lipo charger is like 100 bucks and the battery can be even more than the charger. someone please tell me if it will be a good buy. because the batteries i have now are two 6 cell 3300 nimh batteries, one 6 cell 5000 nimh battery, and a 7 cell 4200 nimh battery

RE: My custom traxxas stadium trucks
Well this is me and my dads rc workspace, on the white shelf are all my bodies and my dads rusty vxl body, ( sorry about the 2 guns they just look cool lol) and on the floor is my 1/5 scale hummer h2, it goes 28 mph and is very big and makes noises and has working lights, and on the workbench is all of our tools for tuning, modding, and cleaning. there are batteries and a charger, wheels, magnum force 2 electric motor cleaner, and cleans dirt off anything rc. All this is in my garage. and also there are some pics of the ramp me and my buddy built for our rc trucks, it has a high elevation and the landing spot is my front lawn and a piece of carpet
