asked me how much time I spend a day thinking about my Revo. Of course I lied! I was so ashamed. But I can't wait to drive my ish tomorrow!
I beleive I have a race tune. I want a big block.

RE: My wife
Get one for her !! Thats what I did. She liked it awhile, then got bored. But never heard to many complaints since. She got a better understanding about how its more than just a "stupid toy" and more of a hobby that I enjoy.. But she will always have something to say about the $$$$$ spent on it!!

RE: My wife
Just do what I did, buy her a lot of cooking and baking stuff for the kitchen, and a few choice recipe books. That should keep her tied up for a couple of months at least until the novelty of all the new kitchen appliances and gadgets wears off. By then you would have established a pattern and you're in business.

RE: My wife
Well, you know what they say about wives and kitchens.
What have you done wrong when they come complaining and moaning out of the kitchen??????
You've made the chain too long..........
I love being so sexist, hehe.

RE: My wife
My wife drove one once, for about 30 seconds, it met a gutter, flat out, and kinda EXPLODED, so it was a pretty short hobby for her, she didnt like that experience and has not wanted to drive one since, which is cheaper for me, LOL, she killed an electric belt drive kyosho, she said, '' gee, takes off fast, oops '' LOL @ wifeys, you gotta love em...

You know why women have such small feet right? It's an evolution thing. It allows them to stand closer to the sink.
That's bad huh?

RE: My wife
Yeah I bought my ex-wife an RC truck because she thought she might like one. She ran it a couple of times and got bored, said she didn't want it. Then she said I spent too much time with RC cars and stuff. Either the cars or she had to go!
I sometimes miss her, but not really lol.
I do like trucks better though, I do credit her with that!

RE: My wife
mine is awlays saying that i spend to much time and money on rc and not with her. she has always wanted one so i biult a brushless rustler. bad idea!!!!!!!!! first thing she did, smack 70mph in to a wall. there goes $200. now i got her a mt2. but i toned it down a little. she is good at being my pit girl and turn marshell though. i got here a coach bag to help justify my $1000 a month hobby.her $ 300 to my $1000 seams fair to me. just can't buy as much fuel this month. but she goes to the track and watches me run. this week end is going to be the first time she has ran a nitro of her own. i got a pink body and chrome wheels for it. but i think if we can both enjoy the hobby and time doing it together than it is money well spent. it is better than spending 100 euro to go to the bar every weekend.

RE: My wife
I guess Im lucky. My wife never asks how much I spend on RC stuff (which is way more than I should) and if I mention to her that I found something I would like to get, she always tells me to just buy it. I gave her my Revo to race since I decided to concentrate more on truggy and she has fun with it. Surprisingly, she breaks less parts on it than I ever did and she can't drive it worth a cr@*. It is fun to see her on the track though. However, I don't think the guys marshalling like her very much.
