yes[&o]

are pull starts crappy? I don't like blisters or swore arms. I guess if I go to the 427 or lrp I will just use my glow plug wire and keep the pull start or go to a roto eventually. For just a little more cash I should get one of those huh? $114.00 for a 3.3 or $149.00 for the mach 427 or $169.00 for the lrp spec 3. I did go to the losi forums and read about them and they seem to be great engines. What is the diff between the teal and orange head variants on the mach? Compression/price???

Get the LRP over the Mach.

Yes the Mach is a great RTR

But the LRP is bigger and a bit better,
I have some photos of my sleeve and piston from my LRP at 3 1/2 gallons
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_71...tm.htm#7208413

If you can spend over 200 bucks then look at a picco or something,

did you see what he did to his last 3 3.3s? I wouldnt touch a part from that car lol

also why is it we never hear of you breaking a part besides headers and engines Fish Killa? like Ive said a few times I dont bash anywhere near as hard as you and I just came back from a 30 minute bash session and I need a new front bulkhead, steering linkage, throttle servo, receiver battery, fuel and transmitter pack?(the last is Im tired of having to buy AA's) lol

Backflips are the devil arent they? so is landing sideways on your front right wheel >,<

Aw you got me Nitrovenom! LOL!

As far as other things I break it is usually hexes strip or come un glued from when I glued them from stripping. I have broke one a arm, 10 shock shafts, a few shock ends of course and ground off my rear body posts so I got new ones. Also shredded the stock tires to pieces. That is it. I'm telling you guys I land a very high percentage of all my jumps. I have raced motocross for years so I know how to jump and correct using break or throttle. When we get nasty on road the worst that usually happens and it is always me is a high speed tangle that ends in many many many many many cartwheels down the road. But I love when they cartwheel and you just hear the rubber of the tires hit and no plastic or metal parts hit the concrete. I'm sure I am forgetting but I can't think of anything else that has broke. Okay I am off oh wait I broke 3 headers too. Okay now I am off to the garage to piece this thing back in my old case fromt he first blow up. I will post pics. The other engine from traxxas is due here tomorrow but it needs a signature and I will be at work so we will see. Later ladies

Go to beach and learn to jump, with sand absorbing alot of impact you damage less, learn fast without damage, do it over and over....

Just how did you snap that engine, specificly, how ?
Hammer maybe ?

Dam, Ive never seen an engine do that before. Come on the fricken case just don't break apart like that, unless the head gets smacked from a upside down landing, which Fish Killa said he didn't do. Too me, It looks like a manufacture defect than user error. Just my 2cents.

Like i said I rebuilt it tonight using the old case from the first blow up. It went smooth. I checked were i thought the hole was and sanded it a bit to see how bad. I think it is just dented out so I went for it. Fired up right away and idled strong. I will run it tomorow to see how it does at a running temp and high speed passes. This is awesome. I'm not out yet. I told you the piston and sleeve were still good!!!

I also came up with a fix for all the broken headers. I cut the flange in half to use as a clamp/plate. I cut a piece of my rubber stinger exaust defletor to use as a coupler from the exaust port to the header. Plenty of flex now. I may have to use some rtv if it does not seal well but I think it will. It is really good and tight. Pics below...

By the looks of the rust on the sleeve you left fuel in the tank and moister got in it, or you didnt add ARO to it when you where done running, but thats just going by the looks of the motor.

Yea, I quit using it about a week ago cause I was running like everyday. I used to put way too much in like six drops every time I ran wich was again like almost everyday. Is that why you think the case blew apart? That along with all the other stress it has been through in 5 gallons in 2 months I'm sure any rust and moisture has not helped. I swear I did my best at keeping it clean and straight. I just really really ran it hard and often. I never let it cool between tanks but temps were always around 212 to 240. That is the range it ran at. She fired back up tonight so we will see how much life is left in it. I will not let this thing die easy. I got it begging for mercy now!

I doubt rust was the cause of that engine failure,
