they say you will need to richen a bit since you are flowing more air. i have one and i like it. i always retune whenever i run the car so when i installed mine i just made my necessary adjustments like always. it's a nice filter though, WAY better than the stock trx one.

I love it. One of the best/cheapest upgrades you can do.

These air filters require a lot of air filter oil. I also recomend zip ties around the base of the air filter because it falls off easily even with the metal clip.

My stock neck is dead, spur gear chewed it up. I need to order a new one. I use that robinson racing slipper plate and it makes the spur stick out further.

Try ordering one for the Savage. That's meant for a big block so its a lot bigger. I borrowed my bro's for a little whille to test it out. It even fit on my smallblock. Here's what my filter looks like.

It's great. A day at the races in the dustiest tracks I had ran at, I didn't need to change the filter. Actually, it still had a lot of good clear area.

And I just used the neck that came with it. It doesn't rest on the spur or anything, and the neck grips the engine so tight that you don't even need zip ties.

It's actually running perfect now. Got it back and had to do slight tuning and no problems anymore. It's staying around 260-270 degrees. All seems good.

Try an HPI Savage filter, its much better quality than the Motorsaver and cheaper. Imo there is no better RTR or upgrade filter than the one from the Savage, high volume and dual stage[8D] $6 bucks compared to Motorsaver at $15+..
