Default brakes question?

when i pick my revo up and gas it, all 4 wheels spin like they're supposed to. but when i hit my brake, only the back 2 tires stop instantly and the front tires slowly come to a stop. what could be the problem?

shooting out ideas: maybe the front diff? [sm=confused.gif]

i would try to lift the end of the truck, and then push the car (like a wheel barrow). brake, and see if its responsive...??
