Default Gunk in engine

ok so yesterday i ran my revo for about 6 hours. half a gallon of fuel in one day. wow . so today i noticed when i got it out there is a lot of sludge like on top of the glow plug and around the threads of the glow plug. what is that caused by. the bottom of my glow plug is a lil brown so that means im a lil lean right. pleasa help me out.

Residual oil, sounds like your a little rich thats ok, what fuel are you using

lol traxxas top fuel 20%. its all my lhs carries in a gallon

Yep, i too would say u are a little rich, in which its obviously better to be just a bit on the richer side than too much on the lean side for obvious reasons. That sludge is probably just residual fuel/oil being left behind by the combustion process....

make sure ur glow plug is tight. Maybe clean i t up and throw in a new one or washer at least.
