Default revo 2.5 advanced [problemwont go have done basic checking

ok here is my problem i had a gear go out if you have the traxxus diagrams on the transmission assembly page. you find part 3954 the plastic gearcoming off the transmission right behing the air filter connection.this gear got the teeth striped off of it easy enough i replaced it but now it wont go it seems the motor gear part 1412 spins but the next gear in line part 5215 dosent seem to sping with the motor therefore not spinning the plastic tranny gear is there some pin or something that is missing? another thing when i rasie it up off the ground and slowley apply throttle the wheels will spin very slowely but the motor revs

your slipper is too loose......tighten it all the way down and then back it off 1/4 turn

I don't have a part # but it's pretty simple. The black plastic gear (spur gear) that is right in front of your gas tank will have a nut holding a spring on. That is your slipper clutch adjustment. Tighten it all the way down then loosen it 1/4 of a turn.

why not??? thats what Traxxas says to do in their manual.....Thats what I do with my Tmaxx which runs the exact same slipper as the Revo.....Thats what anybody who runs a Traxxas Nitro does.....If you run it as loose as you suggest you will just burn up pads and spurgears.....1/2 turn on high traction surfaces and 1/4 turn on loose dirt or slippery surfaces.
