Default 6 Wheeled T-Maxx

Can this be done, I am not thinking like adding 2 more wheels behind the current 4, I was thinking of placing 2 more to the outside of the back 2. My brother said that he saw an adapter a while back but cant remember where he saw it. If anyone can help it is appreciated!

Thanks

Your talking about making the rear wheels double... like the diesel pick up trucks? Yes, it's possible and I don't know what the adapter is called. I saw a video of it on youtube.

You want this on your truck except only 2 wheels in the front?

That looks cool, but not from the prospective of my wallet! The RB one is only 40 bucks for the rear, I might try it... I found some wheels on ebay for a dollar so not much harm there

What do you guys think? Also, if you come across any pictures of a 6x6 or 8x8 trucks post 'em up!

Heck yea!!! like I said, Ive yet to seen anything like that in person, but it certainly seems like its obviously a do-able idea with the right adapters and tires/wheels, etc.....

Yea, I think it would look really cool just to bash around, but the extra weight would suck []

yeah it would... but keep in mind that'll put alot of stress on all the drivetrain. You've effectivly doubled the rotational mass.

U are probably right there on that one; Too much weight could definitely be a issue there as far as that goes.....

Especially considering you have a 2.5 engine. Also, this would probably make it... interesting... to see it try and bash. You probably wouldn't get much speed and therefore wouldn't be able to do much in the way of jumps... Speaking of jumps, wouldn't that kinda sorta throw the balance of the truck off when it's in the air? Not worth the money IMO. Get a wing instead lol. Granted it would look bad *****

Thats why for doing something like truck pulls and the like, u would be better off with the 3.3 obviously because it will give ya more "torque" for pulling and whatnot.....

Another item for my want's list for the Revo. Add a second set of wheels for use in the snow to get better flotation and traction. Wonder how well it works and how strong the kit is.
