RE: NINJA revo build SECRET REVIELD!!!!
absolutemayhem, nice truggy. One thing I would do (and recommend doing) is swap the servos. That JR 9000t would make a much better steering servo than that 359 (I run a 359 in my CRT and a guy had a 9000T the 9000T worked a lot better. Plus 333oz of torque is overkill for throttle and brakes

RE: NINJA revo build SECRET REVIELD!!!!
got half a tank in, mainly just tuning the NINJA....this motor pulls HARD. it top end is ridiculous!... it would beat my revo on a drag race even with the CD diff ing out.....im guessing 48 mph top speed...but the NINJA just wants to keed pulling...im gonna put thick oil in the CD and really test it tommorow........hey, i might take you advice bout switching servos........

Looks nice but now you need the tank! That wee little tank will not give ya much run time on the monster....try out the tower terror tank mod. It is simple and cheap and looks good. Just a thought,

You should really give the Mugen more of a chance ! to me it sounds like you never gave the Mugen much chance at all.... Its like a guy who drives a Honda Civic being given a new ZO6 Corvette then saying he would rather drive the Civic because its more fun ........ for the life of me I cannot understand how anyone would say a Revo is more fun....... Just wait till you start shredding the drivetrain and wasting both time and money fixxing that Revo, then see how fun it is............. To bash with a truggy just thicken the center diff and it will run circles around that Revo and it wont break doing it..Mugen is many times more durable and many times more capable ..... The Mugen is one of if not the toughest RC's on the planet, the Revo is one of the most fragile........... As soon as I got my first Truggy my Revo was sold and I will never waste a nickel on another Traxxas product ever again....I will say the Revo was fun when it was working, but the dam thing was breaking all of the time, nonstop I was fixxing the dam thing and needing to buy expensive upgrades... some say the revo is the best of both worlds of Truggy and MT, I however disagree and say it is the worst of both worlds...its not as tough as other MT's and nowhere near as capable as a truggy.....

RE: NINJA revo build SECRET REVIELD!!!!
While I agree the Mugen is superior to the revo....I do not think it's to the degree you state. I have 2 MBX5's, 2 MBX5T's and 4 revo's. Yes the Mugen will beat the revo hands down. I find it pretty hard to break my revos. They are not 100% stock but they are not POS's like stated.
