Default Help please with my T-MAXX 2.5

Hi i have an older 2.5 T-MAXX, the plug glows cherry red but wont start.but the question is see my plug has no gasket could this be the problem? All suggestions are welcome.It's,like i wrote it's old and has alot of fuel run through it,i'm guessing 4 gallons,give or take.Thank you all.

uh,yeah,thats a bit of a problem.it can make your engine run all kinds of wierd.go out and get a few new plugs,they come with new gaskets.josh

It can run with out the gasket. First we need to know if you are using electric or pull start.

i thought the plug will leak badly if it doesnt have the copper seal?..josh

It can run with out it. It does have less compression but not enough to prevent starting.

It's the electric start with the wond (ez) start,the blue 2.5 engine that looks like the shape of an egg.All stock but it's old.

just replace it anyways,its a good starting point for any engine thats having trouble.josh

Replace the plug, use fresh fuel and get a glow igniter. The EZStart wand is notorious for underpowering the glow plug.

Yeah that's what i use is the ignitor,the factory set up sucks beside turning it over.I want to trade it for a PS2 but i can't figure out all the advertizment to list it.Thanks.
