Im getting a s-maxx are there any parts or accessories i should pick up.

first are you just bashing or racing?

if your bashing then just run it first and get it broken in and get used to the truck. then worry about upgrades.

if your racing then tell me and there's a list of parts that are recommended. however you shouldn't purchase upgrades until you get a feel for the truck and get some basic skills with driving and controlling the truck.

so basically from the posts above you can see that everyone has their own opinion about how they want to upgrade their truck. Some overlap like the recommendation for RPM arms.

but it's your truck so customize it to your taste. that's what i did
