got a servo question
will this servo work in my t-maxx http://www.hitecrcd.com/servos/show?name=HSR-5990TG.

The HiTec servo plug will fit the TRX receiver.
The TRX servo saver or servo horns are not the same spline as the HiTec servo. You will need an adaptor to fit the stock saver/horn or a different servo saver/horn to use it with the T Maxx. The HiTec's come with a few horns in the box that can be used as the throttle brake horn but there is no steering servo saver included.
