Default K&N

Found a k&n small airfilter in work today off one of the tiny moto bikes its fits well on the maxx only problem is been hearing they dont work as well as a motorsaver or 2 stager filter etc but i like the look of it[]
Im guessing its gonna let in more dust and crud than the other options but maybe if i use some gauze filter over the carb opening it would most crap out?

.... anyone else ran one before?

Like i said most forums say there bad for letting crap through but maybe it could be used with a bit of modding ie fitting a foam piece inside and having a gauze filter over the carb hole wouldnt that keep most of the dust and crap out in wondering....

those are not even real air filters. they are pcv filters repackaged as rc air filters. only one layer of the gauze as opposed to 2 or 3 for air filters
