E-Maxx Brushless Edition
I got my E-Maxx Brushless Edition a week ago and have been having a blast. An overall great RTR truck. Just like my Brushless E-Revo VXL, it has some insane top speed with 3S Lipo's plugged in.
There are only two querks that I have found thus far.
1. When I first turned it on I had to go into the TX menu and reverse the steering. It has been fine all week, but I just ran it again today and the steering had reset again back to reverse, so I'll have to go through the menu again to get it set right.
2. Only with 3S I have noticed when performing long wheelies that the steering twiches on occasion and I can see the front wheels steering left and right all by themselves with no input from the TX. I'm not sure if the torque is forcing the wheels to steer a direction and I am seeing the servo's fight this or if perhaps it is a voltage surge problem that the RX is having trouble handling.
Anyone else have this happen?
Still overall these are minor things and I am completely satisfied and love every-minute of drivning this truck.

RE: E-Maxx Brushless Edition
i have read somewhere that w/lipo itis best to run a bec ,so that it doesnt effect the servos .
something to the effect of the power would rather go to the motor than the servos so the servos
will have a lack of power and give screwy reactions . this may be a resolution for your prob.
bec's are cheap for the most part and i think you just need to get the right amperage for your
system .

RE: E-Maxx Brushless Edition
On my E revo brushless, I have had the same issues with the steering turning or drifting to a side without any input from my controler. I think its something up with the new controler and recievers traxxas has just been putting in there trucks (Traxxas Link). I did not see any problems with my old controler or reciever.
