hey guys is this a direct bolt in?do i have to buy the brake yoke too?

it depends on what tranny you have black or grey. i think black is the one that is the same as the revo.

The Revo or the Grey tranny Maxx brake will not work on the 2.5 Black tranny. The mounting holes are wider apart on the brake pads and will not line up. The steel brake disk is also too large in diameter to fit inbetween the screws that hold the calipers in place.
You can reduce the size of the steel brake disk and add pads to the brake calipers to have a similar version. http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/k...d/BrakeMod.jpg |

Just one I made.
Stock 2.5 calipers with modified pads attached to them and the Revo/Maxx steel brake disk reduced in diameter. |

the revo disc has the hex center that will fit the tmaxx hub?

No, the TMaxx model 4909 uses the brake hex.

ok i see.i found the disc on ebay.did you make it smaller with a dremel?did you put the 3.3 pads on the stock maxx pads?how did you get them off?
