REVO Maintenance.

Hello everyone,
I am new to the site but not new to R/C. I fly heli and airplanes and I boat. So naturally I thought it was time for a truck, my choice being a REVO 3.3. Fellas I am having a blast with this thing it's fast it flys and it's really rugged. My question is what kind of maintenance do I need to pull and what are the major things to pay attention to that will help this thing held together and pounding the dirt like it should?
I am looking forward to your opinions and glad to be a new member on your site.
Thanks

Main buggies clean air filter every hour of run time.
When you shut the engine off make sure piston is at bdc = bottom dead center . When your finished for the day use plenty of after run oil..I use enough that makes it a lil hard to crank next time. Keep everything clean and free. Clean and oil wheel bearings and check all nuts and bolts after every day of running.

Thanks for the advice. I will get the after run oil ASAP and a spare air filter.

For inexpensive ARO you can use Marvel Mystery Oil you can buy a quart of it for what is cost for afew ounces of AROandfor short term storage WD40 between weekends.I also use Marvel Mystery Oil as an air filter oil. Been doing it since I got into NitroR/Cs 14 years ago.

To find your BDC fast and easy, put a mark on your flywheel. I know its sounds simple but it took me a year to do it, lol What a big help.
