Default Looking for a new jet help

OK, I have it narrowed down to three jets. BAe Hawk, L39 or Viper Jet. I'm also thinking it should be a 140 class. I don't want a small jet and the large jets are too much of a hassle to transport and setup. I also need a jet that has good proformace from grass. I'm not cheep, but I don't want to brake the bank. Please help guide me in the right direction

Might be better to post this in th emain jet forum instead of the turbine engines section. The JL vipers all the global guys fly seem to be a great flying jet and I dont think you would have any problems on grass. I think my buddy Paul flies his viper on grass now..... Any of those will be a good flying jet bet the viper we sell is very popular and seems to be an all around winner for folks......Im pondering getting the FB viper jet for an everyday flyeer myself..... Cost wise you will not beat the viper or the L39 and the setup is is about the same on all three as per transporting.

I agree that this should be in the main forum.
I have the Viper Jet 1.9M and it is an awesome jet all around. Easy to build (even though I didn't build mine), very simple set up as far as radio gear, electronics, etc. But, most importantly, this jet flys great. Jet Legend has continued to listen to their customers and make changes to the airframe, examples: better wing connection with two bolts on each wing now, removable wing tips which helps a lot with transport. I've got probably 50-60 flights on mine, and yes, I've just started to fly off of grass since I've moved half way across the country and my new club has a grass runway.
I also have the small Velox and that thing is really fun to fly. Probably got 150 or so flights on it now. This jet is a little more complex with all the gear doors and really tight fuselage for radio installs, etc. but it can fly with a 100N turbine and can easily operate in the 200mph speed range. The airframe has been tested well beyond those speeds. Only downfall is that it's a very sleek airframe and a little hard to see at first, but you will get used to it.
If I can help further feel free to reply or PM.
Paul
