Need some help from Twin friends!
Hey guys, building a Twin Stick with a couple of DLE55's. I'm running three blade props and I've got 3/4" of spacing between prop tip and fuselage side. If I move my nacelle over a bay it'll be 3". Hate to move the motors outboard if I don't have to. Would 3/4" clearance be adequate or will I end up sucking the covering right off the fuse? Thanks, Jerry.

3/4" is plenty..
No, you won't suck covering off ( unless you do crappy job of covering )
Guessing this plane will be around 90" / 100" wing......?

I would agree, the closer to centerline thrust the better.
Wow, a twin stick! It must be big onewith those engines. I've been interested in something like this butaround twin 30cc size. Is it a scratch build, do you have a build thread?

Agreed, that spacing is plenty. It is always advisable to keep the thrustlines as close to the centerline as possible to reduce disymetry of thrust when operating on one engine.
There is a tradeoff of course (there always is with every decision) and that is you will be unable to increase propellor diameter if you should ever feel the need.

Thanks for the updates guys. This is the AMR Twin Stick. Its made for 30cc but I live at 6K feet and a pair of 30's just won't fly it. Thanks, Jerry.
