Flying Circle
Well here is something a bit different. It started life as a twin engine bird but I decided to add the center engine to increase the airflow over the control surfaces in an effort to make it more controllable. We'll see how it works!
Specs: 44" Diameter
14 lbs
3x.46 O.S. AX Engines.
Originally 1 engine was enough to fly home on so it should be a rocket with 3! The real question for any aeronautical engineers is where should the C.G. be on a circle??

RE: Flying Circle
The CG on the circle types of planes is usually between the front edge of the circle and back to about 25% of the root chord of the circle.
The Nutball planes that I have built have all worked out well with the CG at about the 25% point.
But one can move the CG a little depending on their flying style though.
I do like that wicked triple engine powered circle or platter plane. That is really neat.
I would bet that it also sounds great too.
