WOW! Love it! I am also extremely glad to learn that amongst the multitude of arf, foamie, profiles and other flying trash that has polluted our hobby, there are still people like you - real model airplane builders and flyers! I look forward to seeing it painted and detailed.
On that subject, if you don't already have a paint scheme in mind, I have found the B-N company super helpful in providing information on its airplanes. As you probably know, the facility is located in the Isle of Man, but they have an office in London that you might contact: Britten-Norman Sales, Ltd., 26 Dover St, London W.1., England. Probably also a web site by now.
I have seen Trislanders. but never an Islander. Costa Rica at one time flew them on in-country routes. My first view was in a Lufthanza magazine once flying someplace in Europe. I ran into an ad for a company advertising flying safaris with the Trislander. I wrote them, asking about the airplane, they led me to B-N who answered with a lot of material. Nice blokes indeed!
Congratulations once again, as my German friends say: "Break a led" - it being considered bad luck to wish one the good kind! Eloy Marez

Yes I know so many ARFs out there and that's nice when time is limited nut certain airplanes don't come in an ARF like this. Yes have been on Airliners.Net and looking at colors. It flew great and just like a big Trainer. My next project is a Giant Twin Cessna 421C. I will have 2 3W 70 twin cylinder engines in that one. Im glad you like the plane. Going to burn 2 more gallons in the motors and then paint it and at that point go to full synthetic oil.

So....
back in 2010 i get the plans from this man in the picture....

he flying this plane already more than ten years.
the Plane is equipped with two Znoa G23
He sent me three files with the programs.

In 2010 I started to build my own.
It took me about 3 years ..to build from balsa, and coated with rice paper ....
The ribs i sent for for cutting .

i used in 2 super tigger 2500
for one reason
its A smaller engine, but he develops more power from the G23

The plane survived about ten flights, until he crashed because of a engine cut.....
after 1 year i wes build him again...this time i build the The body
Foam boards
I used the original tail
And also the wings survived the crash

this time The plane survived about ten flights ........engine cut.....

so version no 3 i want to build with to crrcpro 26cc
very good And reliable engine

http://www.scalerc-il.com/scalercfor...der&PN=0&TPN=3

its in Hebrew...but the pics are in ...pics
to move to next page you go down
and jump to next page in......

start from page 3...and you have a 42 building pages.....have a nice trip

for servos i use all Hi tec standrd servos HS322 all Around.
but next time i will use all metal gear...With a little more torqueJust for Security.

home made Landing gears, mada from aluminum by a friend who built it for me.also he made me spacial Landing gears powerd by servo for my canadaair CL 415
my latest project is that going to be completed next month.

also a monster with two petrol engines 40cc

I use the O.S. 33GT gas engines. With a glow motor you have to really know what you are doing to adjust the engines. I have over 100 flights on my motors zero problem. Gas is the way to go with these. Below is a HD link to my test flight. Let me know what you trhink.

Very nice flight...also very fast flight....do to your engine size....and prop 18X10??
also me was really scared for my first time.....after 2 years of building of multi engine.

But they are very comfortable and easy to fly...they land like the real one...in nice Gentle angle with high nose.
Just need to constantly listen to the engines noise.

It was the first and last time that I use glow engines for multi engine planes.
in my canadair I use two gas engines 40cc

By the way, what format are your plans?

thenks
Amir
