I saw one on E-Bay the other day. Seemed like it included retracts and engines. It may have been an ARF, now that I think about it...

Hoss:

Yes, there are quite a few around, I think.

I've got more contacts than usual in the twin hobby since I CD the Multi-Engine event every year in Ames.

Seems like several guys have mentioned having one, although I can't exactly recall their names right now.

Keep advertising and one will turn up

There was a thread on RCU a few years ago that led to special run of Duellist 60 kits cut and sold, and I doubt all those got built. Would be SWEET to snatch one of them!

Here's a pic of my 18 YEAR OLD Duellist with counter-rotating OS 46's. Technology's kinda outdated, but I still fly it for nostalgia once or twice a year. Still goes like a Bat outta Hades

Yes I did find one. An ARF brand new.
I am paying a premium price for it but I really wanted it.
Thanks again

You could get a set of plans and build one.

I have the Duellist plans, it will be built soon. I was thinking of scaling it up a bit, and using .60 sized engines.

Here is mine, an old Pica I snagged from a dumpster. I use a pair of YS 45's with Ultra Thrust pipes and unencumbered with retracts

I was lucky to find a Duelist ARF on RCU yesterday from a real nice guy.
The ARF only comes in solid yellow
I will remove the decal on the wing and think of a way to decorate the model
Stripe, Checkers ETC. I am open for suggestion and colors guys........
John,,,, Yours looks EXCELLENT.

Thank you Hoss for the kind words. On your colors on most of my airplane I do best with a large contrast top to bottom and usually dark on the bottom but I don,t always listen to my own advice

Now I got a question for you, is that a Boomerang in your Avitar and which one, Sprint perhaps? Hard to tell, anyway I just ordered a Nano today that I am looking forward to.

If your interested Here is some old video of my Dualist maiden takeoff and the maiden landing, two links sorry. This was around four years ago.

A while ago I found a guy who made a short kit version of the Duellist. His name is Pat Fallacaro ([email protected]). If I remember was in the $185 shipped ballpark.
Eventually it is a kit I'd love to build, but for now too much stuff on my bench...

Best of luck with that! It was a tad too much money for me. What engines are coming with it?

I picked one up at a local hobby shop. In Minnesota Vikings Colors, even! It has no canopy though. Anyone know where I can get one or what size Sig canopy fits on it?

Thanks in advance

I could always change the colors, Hoss. The Vikings will probably stink this year, too. But, the LHS wanted $129 for it complete without canopy or engines. For that price, I'll deal with the Vikings colors. I don't think I could find the KIT for that little now.

Simply beautiful Lil Hoss I wish you well on the maiden. I have not flown mine for the last couple of years this gives me a little kick in the rear to dust off my Phoney Focke Wulf and fly her some more.
