Default Has anyone built the A-30 baltimore from Wing Manufacturing?

I've had this short kit sitting on the shelf for a while, looks like a neat little bomber, has anyone built one of these that could provide some insight about it?

I must be the only person then that has one, the kit was originally designed as plans (the plans go back a few years, shows a lot of the old style construction techniques) only because it shows a built up wing and has all the templates of the ribs. The kit has a foam core wing.

I've been an RC fanatic for over 20 years and I've never heard of a Wing Mfg. A-30 Baltimore kit. (Of course I could have missed it. [sm=stupid.gif]) My guess is that someone bought a set of plans or a kit from somewhere else and then had Wing Mfg. cut foam wing cores for it. (Wing used to cut custom cores.) What company name is on the plans?

The plans, cowls, canopy, etc are still available. It's in an official Wing Manufacruring kit box with the A-30 label on it.

Well, you certainly have a classic there. Best of luck with it.

Wing Mfg still lists the plans, cores & accesories on their site:
