Does it need the long nose to balance?

Hey gang....I don't know much....Just put this picture up from KMP's website...They claim 4stroke 91's...I don't know if they will offer this one w/retracts or just fixed gear...I know it is all wood...with fiberglass parts....Can't wait to see more details...

DK:

I suppose some people just like ugly things. After all, consider the fellow your girl friend is dating.

Haw. Gotcha!

longer nose is probably the "D" or NOGS version. pretty is as pretty does .when the gooks are shooting at you &the chips are down who cares what it looks like. OV-10 served very well in Vietnam and is actually a well thought-out design.

A little off track from the KMP OV-10, but Hobby Hanger has a 80" OV-10 ARF of Rich Uravitch design. (sorry Rich if I spelled your name wrong). But I have yet to see any posts on the H.H. ARF quality ????. And I have made posts several times asking if anybody has one. No takers though, ?? It sure looks nice by the pictures. I tell you what I'd sign up for one of Rich's ARF if I could get any feedback from anyone that has one.

How about it Bill, you know anything about the HH ARF OV-10 ??

I think that the KMP OV-10 Bronco is already in stock. But the price is a little high $649.95. It seems that is a copy of the Palmer Plans 96" OV-10.

Interesting!

I've always been interested in the OV-10.
I worked at Hamilton Standard in Windsor Locks CT for @ 12 years and actually made propeller blades for that aircraft.
I can remember stamping "Not FAA Certified" on the shank of every one we made and that alone caught my eye.

Since it was a Military aircraft, it needed no FAA cert. and was never intended for Joy riding.

I might have to look into getting one of these kits!
