I know that I'll get shot down but here goes. Go Electric. Prices on Lipos have dropped and brush less motors are for real now. I've always been a firm believer in Gas and Nitro but recent experience's with electric stuff like helicopters and the E Flight line of planes has really caught me by surprise. I have the original set of E2-C Hawkeye plans and they call for electric set up in the first place. Now that I am convinced that is the way to go. Mike I know you put a lot of effort in your Hawkeye and your C-130 ( not to mention the money). Its the end result that counts a plane you can fly hanger queens are nice but they take up too much room. I just finished up a E Flight P-38 and have to admit I'm really impressed. The no "flame out" thing is kinda of nice too. I gave serious thought to retrofitting my original C-130 to electric but I think square one is they way to go. I'm not knocking anyone just offering a alternative. Best of Luck. Mike

Yep I have a set. I'm not sure what coping costs are but I'll find out and let you know. I bought them awhile back from the same guy Mike got his set from. I'm pretty sure they are like 68 or 70 inch wingspan. Il check it out and let you know. Mike

Now that the Breguet Atlantic was mentioned I was drafting one but put the drawings aside. Here are some shot of the work done up to now. I was still at doing the fuselage formers and by and large they are almost done and the wings have also been drafted as the attached photos indicate.
The Atlantic is a nice subject but to make the scale landing gear is a bit difficult because of the twist in the landing gear.

Anyway..here they are
