I tried the link and worked just fine. try it now.[8D]

Unless they are simply doing maintainence all day, I have tried connecting to that website all day long without success. Thats why I asked for sites that have the kit. Got any other places?

RE: KMP B-25 CONSTRUCTION.
I put 5 flights on my B-25 this weekend and I have to say, it is good flyer. Really has a lot of rudder, & aileron authority. Hope that will be true if I loose an engine . I think I will need to dial in a little expo on the rudder and ailerons, to smooth out the flights. Have OS .91 4-strokes, and thats all the motor it will ever need and then some! Flying with 14x6 M/A 2-blades now but I plan to go to 13x8, or 14x7 3-blades.
I think its a keeper.

Jimmy,
Nice Job on the B-25. Quick question...your retract struts. Robart? Do you happen to know the model/part number? I plan on using the supplied retracts and just add the robart struts to them. Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Brent

RE: KMP B-25 CONSTRUCTION.
Hay all.
The guys from Vacaville and Woodland, CA did you all proud. They were in Atwater CA at the IMAA Rally of the Giants this past week in force and they had a mass of War Birds with several of these B-25 included. Saturday and Sunday they put on a reinactment of the Doolittle Raid on Japan, it was awesome. They had among their planes several B-25s, P-38s, P-61s and more, I don't know their total but I would guess the lot of them brought around 20 airplanes or should I say War Birds??
Thew flew with class and are very good pilots. I am recovering from the event but will post some pictures as soon as I can.

I order the kit and the retracts from KMP, at the same time..The retracts are from Robarts....units were complete..didn't have to add any struts..some people in these thread did order the Robart struts for the gear that came with the kit......I got a special deal when I ordered the B-25,and retracts..got the combo at a special price..That was last Oct....had to wait 3 1/2 months for the retracts..Just check out the thread here and maybe you'll find the the struts( Robarts) some people have added....Suggestions?...I'd get the set of Robart gear for the plane.....Pricey,but well worth it...Thanx for the comments on the plane.....Good Luck

RE: KMP B-25 CONSTRUCTION.
I have noticed many of you decided to mount your 4 stroke engines upside down. Many people suggest theses engines are not attitude sensitive. Can some of you elaborate on how well this has worked and what problems one may encounter. Roomer has it they are harder to start.

RE: KMP B-25 CONSTRUCTION.
I run four strokes in everything and have no problem with them inverted. You follow the same rules as other engines. Keep the tank and carb close and break the engine in well according to the mfg. Usually four stroke engines once set up require very little ajustment. I have a few that I haven't had to touch the neddle valve in years, they just run perfect every time I crank them. Saito and OS are the best but Magnum can hold it's own and is cheaper. I plan on mounting two Saito .72 four strokes inverted on this plane myself. If you are worried you can invest a little in an onboard glow driver. The one I would recomend is a Nelson hobby unit that checks the plug constantly and applies power as needed. Very neat. These units aren't cheap though. There are other choices, MAXX, MPI, Sonic-Tronics (McDainel) etc. The engines are no harder to start invert than upright, just be sure not to flood the engine and hydralic lock the cylinder. Of course this is true of any engine not just four strokes.

MTROUNDS,
Howdee.....
How did your elect version work out with the AXI4120-18's and Jeti70 optos with the 2each side TP420032 lipos?
Did you have plenty of power and how bout the sound of those bad boys? Also flight times and setup etc.
Sounds like a neat way to go (no worries on eng out stuff!
I have searched this thread for the info but couldn't find it.... sorry if you've already posted..
Thanks in advance

RE: KMP B-25 CONSTRUCTION.
I have one more question:
Where you have the CG at the B-25.
Can I take the CG of the construction manual?
Or do have a others?
