The full scale is 43 ft (516") span, and the AE is 1/10 scale, so about 51-52". My Wescraft is about 52" and the AE is supposedly a copy of the Wescraft.

Is there any need for a mostly built Royal B-17???
Has all the parts [as far as I know], built and glassed, but never finished.

Were it not all the way in New York, might be an option.

FYI: Would ship in one or two boxes, probably $40-80 for the shipping

would like to start discussions re: "Royal B-17 built" around $400 , 'cause that's what I've seen on eBay.

would also like it gone.

have had many nibbles, but no follow thru.[:@]

Google shows this thread in their search results when looking up rc B-17. So here is another post to bring it back from the grave for anyone interested. Maybe this can help anyone thinking about getting one in the future. There are plenty of rc models of the B-17 shown at this site in all sizes and types of power:

You might monitor www.centuryjet.com. We are coming out with a composite B-17 E/F/G 126" model. 3 different nose sections, 3 different top turrets, 2 different tail sections, operational turrets, operational bombay doors, and the list goes on. Look at a February 15th kit release.
