Default Urivitch 81" OV-10

Looking for engine nacells for OV-10. Ones ordered from Urivitch are paper thin. Previous ones from Urivitch were heavy plastic.

I just talked to Craig at Fiberglass Specialites and they have the fiberglass replacement parts for the plastic. http://www.fiberglassspecialtiesinc.com/ He says his website is down due to a web server glitch but you can call him at 479 359-2429.

I offer hi-impact styrene cowls for both my Bronco designs. I don't recall ever having any "paper thin" units. If the "paper thin" units are too thin and the plastic units too "heavy", I also have replacement fiberglass cowls available, $24.00 a pair including domestic shipping. Sorry you're having such difficulty.

Thanks. Had gone to the site but wouldn't connect. Assumed no longer in business. Glad to hear they are.

Rich: Don't know what happened but what I got when I orderd the "Big Bronco plastic parts" were engine cowls that were 1/2 the "strength" from the ones I had gotten from you before. The original ones are hard plastic, the current ones are thin "vacuform".

Post Script to my last posting: Rich: Might add the current wing tips, nose, and tail cone are made of the same flexable "vacuform" material. The original tail cone was of the "hard plastic" same as the engine cowls.

I received the plastic parts from Rich several months ago and they are fairly thick hard white plastic. I'm quite pleased with them! My Bronco build is coming along fine, the wing is done and I'm starting on the nacelles. I've decided to go with OS-Max 65 LA's instead of the .46's I orginally planned to use mainly because of postings here on RC Universe.
If anyone wants to watch my particular build progress they can check my web site www3.nf.sympatico.ca/falcon

Rich: How do I go about ordering OV-10 cowls from you?

navaguesser,

Try his website. The accompanying link will take you directly to the Bronco parts. www.richuravitch.com/newprod.htm

Hope this helps.
