HI Guys:
I'm finaly back from some summer vacation... (I have not been avaoiding anybody here [sm=tongue_smile.gif]) and I have some news and instructions about the remedy for the outboard wing panel discussions.
The factory will be sending out some new wing tube inserts and aluminum tubes to raise the panel slightly. If you go to the instructions portion of our website we have posted (will be there shortly if not already) a single page with an illustration of the mod. We will of course send out these parts to anyone who needs them as soon as they arrive. We are expecting them in about 3 weeks depending on when our factory send the parts to us. They are in the process of making the parts and told us they will do everything possible to expidite them to us as soon as they are ready.
The factory has also reassured me that all future B-25 production will be made with the adjustment to the panel.
Thanks again for your patience with regards to my response to this matter. Should anybody need further clarification or wish to speak to me directly about this or anything else feel free to pick up the phone and call me toll free 888-968-7251.
As always, I wish everyone many happy landings!

Question For all the Pros....
Gotta put some guns on the Apache Princes and need to know length and scale. Will a 4 inch barrel work for .50 cal's?
I'm planning to make some on my own out of tubing and balsa. How about the tail guns, side fuselage guns, waist guns and turret, what length should they be?

What I did was buy the TopFlight B-25 gun kit from Tower Hobbies. The scale difference is not noticeable.

Stand by.... working on it with the factory.

We're still "standing by". Philosophically, my legs are getting tired!
Having felt I got my point across about this defect, I've sat back patiently (and quietly), and waited for KMP to come back with the right fix to this problem, which is: replace our wing assemblies with the redesigned nacelles/wingtips, instead of the kluge fix originally proposed.
Have you gotten buy-in from the factory, yet?

The factory does respect the fact that our customers pay substantial amount of money for our (their) aircraft and deserve a superb airplane. As such I am sure they will come through with a further solution at some point. I'm doing the best I can to make our customers happy and there is a lot of behind the scenes work going into this.
I am trying to resolve this as fast as I can but I need to respect the factory and their ongoing production sched. Trust me when I say that I have passed on the importance of getting this recitified ASAP. I believe that the factory was very fast in promising the first suggested solution.

HI,
I do have the first (smaller size) KMP B-25 and I lost the top turret window. I know it sound stupid but I suspect the housewife to have cleaned the garage and throw it in garbage by mistake... I am searching a new one, any idea where I could get it?
thanks

Thanks very much for the quick response.
I appreciate the update, and your on-going efforts on this issue.
Looking forward to its (satisfactory) resolution!
