Here are a few pics of my 310... this plane is enjoying a long and safe flying life.
The cowlings are off as I'm doing some engine mods to the engines, I've just installed a TwinSync in the airframe and the sound is fantastic.

RE: RE:
Flyme,
It's looking good, and like you said, you'd probably change it several times before you got what you wanted. It's nice that we sometimes have that option.
I was getting mine all set for the Ames Multi Fly event this year, looks like I won't have to dust it off after all, the event was cancelled due to flood damage from last year, bummer[], it was always a fun event.
Thanks for the nice pics, they save a lot of typing.

RE: RE:
Del Ray,
What does ames have to do with you getting it down and working on it. you are not getting any younger you know. Just so you know i have decieded to get my first one down and pull the O S 1.08"s off of it and replace them with a pair of power 160's. close your mouth yes you saw it right i am going to make it electric with 2 5 cell lipos in each nacelles. i already have one of the power 160's so just need to get one more and a couple of 110 high voltage speed controls and then start to work. this will be my winter project. I'am going to throw the same props that i have on the milatary 310 15 3/4 x15 3 blades. sorry to here about ames wish i could work that into things but have bee going to muncie for the warbird event the last couple of years and that is always a good show. i will see you sat you old fart have your milatray twin there.

RE: RE:
Al,
Well, I've just about given up on having anything ready for the "warbird" event, the 337 is ready, but needs a test flight after the changes were made to the wing, the Corsair is also close, but don't think it'll get a test flight before the weekend. The weather looks to be nasty hot until the weekend, and the weekend looks possibly wet.[:@]
No, I'm not going to put some stars and stripes on my 310 and try and smuggle it in.[X(] Electric, gag me with a fork ol' buddy, you're slippin'. Batteries are for vibrators and flashlights and glo starters, stuff that normally uses batteries.

Real men come home from flying smelling of gasoline or have grease spots on their favorite shirts from glow fuel dripping on them LOL Batteries are good for a few things. They hold your paper work down so the wind doesnt blow them away when signing up for an event. They also tend to burst into flames when there is a crash and they get damaged. More realistic crash scene. HAHAHAHA... just raggin you man
Ive been thinking of CD'ing a multi engine fly in at our site next year. We already have every other event covered so this would be something new for us. I fly alot of twins and would like to have a get together to just see how many of you twin people there are out there
Here is our site (webpage is still under construction, some stuff dont work but most does) http://coffeeairfoilers.com/
Check us out

Sounds like a pretty good reason to me. I toyed with doing one of my C47's with electric, mainly cause it takes about 2 to 4 lbs nose weight to ballast the CG. So figured batteries would be usefull weight. Just never could figure a good way to keep them cool without messing up the look of the nose with cooling holes.

Al, so now I'm telling you it will work, now ya don't have to do it. When I see a 1:1 Cessna 310 flying on battery power, then I'll convert mine. [:'(]

Al, why do you call me negative, I'm realistic, c'mon now, be fair with me. Talk about putting them on strings and then calling me negative, hmm, that sounds very negative to me. I don't want to sound negative, but I think the weather is going to be ugly hot for the "warbird" event.[:@] I really shouldn't be out in the heat and sun and I'm not planning on taking a plane.

RE: RE:
Hi Guys, I have this Nosen 310 fuse for sale. I flew it about 15 flights. Never crashed. I used the wing from it to build a 24% Cessna 414, so I want to sell it to somebody who will get her flying. It has been modified to
1973 Q model specifacations with the Vista View side windows, rear window and 95%
complete cockpit. I also reshaped the roof line and flatened it out to scale profile. It sure
would save somebody alot of work getting this one RTF. It dose not come with the retract unit, or the elevator or rudder servos, but it dose come with the retract servo and Robart air valve with large air tank and fill port all in place. I have $150 already invested in the cockpit and another $100 in the air system and switches. It only weighs 8 lbs. I would consider the best offer over $375.00. You could'nt build it for that and it would probably take a good 3 months to build. I have never seen a Nosen fuse modified to 1973 Q model specs like this before, but it turned out nice. This is too big to ship so it's a local pickup here in Omaha NE. Let me know by sending me a PM. Thanks Guys ! Rick Simmons

Due to a recent stroke Bill will not be answering any e-mails, he is improving
and doctors are certain that he will return to normal or near normal, if you have
any questons please direct them to TooLow as I have forwarded the files to him
and he will help with the Nosen Cessna 310 Club roster until Bill is able to resume
his duties as founder of this club. Thanks in advance for all of your well wishes,
this is just a slight set back for him, he is strong willed and will overcome this health
issue.

I have good news for all of the 310 club-I talked to Bill for a short time this evening and he is on the mend. He sounded tired but still fisty!! He's not giving up ,and neither should we back-off our prayers and get well wishes on this unfortunate incident ! Bill parked his hobby till he is well enough to get back into it, and I beleive he will be back! TooLow

A little humor for Bill. Laughter is the best medicine Get will soon Bill.
Went for my routine check up today and everything seemed to be going fine until he stuck his finger up my rear! Do you think I should change dentists?

It depends. Did he wash his hands?
