They are great flyers, will have to check on throws, I usually set them up for 100 percent on radio and set dual rates for 80%
cg I will have to check the plans.

I know this is for Nosen fans but Im getting desperate for help
I am looking for a topflite 310 wing half so I can scratch build a complete wing.
I know Ebay sells them but I am on a tight budget and would like to build it myself.
If you know of anyone that has a a crashed wing the I could duplicate a wing from contact me please

At roughly 3 1/2 # I don't think you will run into a balance problem, but that
being said it all depends on your radio equipment, batteries, ect. This fuselage
is large enough that placement of all of the required components shouldn't be
a problem with the center of gravity being achieved without having to add
unnecessary weight to the aircraft.
I would like to see a drawing of the engines to see what the height and widths
are as it looks tall and may not ready fit into the stock engine nacelle cowls.
But at $300 each that certainly is a bargain and seems that the reviews of the
engine are very favorable.

Does anyone have a part number for those retracts sold by Hobbyking? I know they were for a T-28, and I used to be able to find them on their website. I'm afraid they aren't offered anymore. Does anyone know? Anyone have a set they want to part with? I have an original kit, the G&L fiberglass parts, and a pair of engines, I just need the gear now!

I checked HK and they are no longer listed, I ordered them about a year ago and went to my order, clicked on the item which would take you to the
item and nothing. appears they are no longer selling them, not in the US or international warehouse. A shame because they are pretty decent.

Been a while since I have checked in here, too much going on with life in general, not much time
for the hobby at all as of late. Finally had to throw in the towel and retire a little earlier than I had
planned to, wife's health has kept me on the run constantly over the past few months, but now that
I am home every day, it is a lot easier for me to tend to her requirements, nursing a wheel chair case
has been really hard with the little help I have had from family & friends. With what time I have available
I should now be able to get down to the serious stuff of aircraft modeling that I haven't had time for in the
past year or two.
Just wondering if any of you fellas that purchased the fiberglass fuselage and parts package have done
anything with them, I still have mine boxed up and will eventually get round to doing something with it in the
near future once I can get the shop re-organized.

Hi Bill:
I hope to be back working on mine this coming winter. I have the nose wheel retracts installed and the wing mounting structure installed in the front half of the fuselage. I have the bulkheads mounted in the rear half of the fuselage. I think the next job to tackle is the structure to hold the horizontal stab. When that is finished I think it would be time to bond the two halves together.
I still have to decide on a retract/gear door sequencer, not sure what to use. I also have to decide on the power system, something like the Smart fly. I need to learn more about them, I don't think they make a system specifically for twins though.
I still plan on using the DLE 20, but I'm thinking the new rear exhaust version. I haven't had time to look, but I'm hoping that the rear exhaust may allow a canister exhaust to be used. I have to get the wing down and have a good look at that.
Cheers, Terry.

Got an e-mail this morning from a gentleman in Mississippi wanting to sell his Nosen Cessna 310.
his e-mail address is: [email protected]
He has it listed on RCG with some pictures: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2244186
Great price if you live close enough to do a pick up.

Hi gang:
I've finally had some time to work on my 310, just finishing up the tail group.
One thing I've been wondering about is the windshield and side glass for my G&L fuselage. Has anybody done the work to create a mold and vacuum form the windshield or side panels?
I don't have access to a vacuum former, can someone point me to a thread that would explain the process.
Thanks, Terry
