I,m missing the instructions for my Bud Nosen Cessna 310. Does anyone here have a set they can send me via email. Although I,m good enough to build without they would be nice to have. BTW I,m here to stay. I,m really into the 310,s. I have the royal 310 and the 310R. I have 3 RC aircraft.

Anyone onboard that has a file with the formers for the G&L Hobbies fiberglass fuselage?
Would be greatly appreciated as I thought that I had it on file, but can't locate them.

Ok guys I have the 310 retracts that are listed again here on RCU . I know some of you need retracts for your 310 . Because of permanent back and hip injuries I have to reduce the size of my planes and hangar .I am no longer in the 310 business and have sold all my 310 planes and parts except these retracts. I listed them a few days ago and have reduced them already .I need these to go .
Here is my offer and last reduction . I will take
325.00 shipped paid via paypal only . Or 300.00 cash if you come pick them up . These are like new at less than half price. No haggle no hassle
Just mention in your offer that you are a Nosen 310 club member and you get the deal.
Thanks and long live the Nosen 310 http://www.rcuniverse.com/market/ite...itemID=1058885
Sold
Thank you

I think I have found the perfect engine for the 310. Here is a link to the web site.

Here is a link for some air retracts that may work on the 310. From what I under stand the nose gear is about 2" too short. But since there 12.7 mm (1/2") I think you could order just a nose gear strut from Robart.

Up date: I'm still gathering all the parts to build the 310 from scratch. This is going to be a long process. I hope I live long enough to see it built and fly. I'm my case budget is everything. Retirement on social insecurity leaves very little after paying expenses for the fun stuff. lol

Both good finds,I think the little 21 cc twin id just the ticket for the 310as twins go.
I am like you rich, life just seems to get in the way of the fun stuff
we are supposed to enjoy when we retire. That being said I know the feeling of
living with SSI as a sole source of income, the reason I have a little part time job
on the side to help along with the hobby and groceries, it's just 12-15 hours a week
but every little bit helps.
I sold all of my G&L fiberglass parts and fuselage along with an extra kit, had to start
down sizing, time to get rid of the kits and engines, that I can't see me ever getting time
to build, some old, some new. Plus the plans stash that I have accumulated of the years
that I will never build, it's amazing just how much "stuff" one can end up with being in the
hobby most of ones adult life.

The cowl on the 310 is 5 1/2" tall so I'm almost sure it will all fit in. If not it would only stick out the bottom 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch. I have five planes now that are all glow. The largest is a 100 satio. I'm tired of the mess and cost of glow fuel. I have been looking all over for a gasser in the size I wanted that would fit inside the cowl. All the single cylinders I found that had around 20cc had terrible reviews.

I used nacelles, cowls, and tip tanks from G&L hobbies and installed DLE 30,s with stock mufflers only cut the cowls away around the mufflers and none of the engines or mufflers stick out
the 30,s are perfect for the plane at 40 lbs.

I just sold the fiberglass fuselage & other parts, wasn't too impressed with the way the tail-cone section fitted, and the balsa kit was a spare that I had, I still have one in the box along with the plans with all of the formers drawn out, so I can build it if I ever get around to it............Lord only knows when that might happen, if it does it will be the 3rd one that I have built............ Wife and I have been talking about moving to Texas sometime next year , so starting to get rid of a lot of the old plastic kits I have accumulated, both cars and aircraft, and a few of the balsa kits I no longer have an interest in.

balsa/ply fuselage due to the retracts, but it might work with the outer plug in wing sections being made from foam. Don't know that anyone
has ever tried it or not but you could always be the first.............
