throttle servo mounted right behind main gear.. and pushrod running along side the retract

anyone have any hinges like this laying around that they would like to sell ...i can use 4 of them. from what i can find out is they came from hobby lobby but they dont make them anymore
any help would be greatly appreciated

center section sheeting done... nacelles next. they may take a little longer with the compound curves

now this thing is really growing.outer wing panels plugged in. i couldnt stand back far enough in the room to get a pic of the whole wing

First wing to fuselage mating. Went very well with just a touch of sanding. Started weighing pieces, could be in around 40lb bracket

Now, I am trying to glue myself to the fuse making the body fairings. Probably takes me twice as long as everyone else!!!!

i should get a few pics of the wing outboard panels in a few....i just have to remember to take them in a lower resolution....they are fitting very well

havent posted in a while but got a lot more done..here is a few pics of the outboard flaps...pretty straight fwd here..not hard to build...servos pushrods and control arms easy to conceal all inside the wing

with all this flap area it should slow it down really well. flaps made with thin ply and balsa ribs...very light and very strong

Gene,

A few pics of the progress of the TF C-47, Its been a little slow, but I got it moved to the front of the line. This will be a E-powered .32 size twin, have not decided yet on covering and paint, hence the partial covering. I cut weight were ever I could. Current weight is only 7lbs, minus Batts,Props and ESC's. Send me your email address Gene.

Good work bros! DC-3 or Dakota looks good to me too! Im building with my friend full composite 1/8 scale version. just cutted from pu-foam and sheeted the wings!

Al came over and insisted we do the pilot thing. Seat bottoms are wet with epoxy.

Decided to finish the Fuse first, Ultracote with Rustoleum over it, then cleared the Rustoleum.
