Saito 182 Twin,how to Start ?
http://h1071118.hobbyshopnow.com/pro...prod=SAIE182TD
Hi guys ! This beautiful motor has 4 glowplugs !!! Could somebody tell me how to set up it to start well this motor. I mean,do we have to join the 2 glowplugs on each side with a splitter and use 2 glow ignitor or what ? It's amazing to see how they don't say anything about it in the instruction book !! We put it on a brand new beaver and both heads will be show outside of the cawling. Thanks in advance ! Paul

Paul, you only need glow on one plug each side to start. Once the motor is running the 2nd glow starts working by itself.
I would put an on-board twin glowdriver - one to each cylinder - twins always seem to run better with on-board glow..

Check out sonictronics. They have mcdaniels multi engine units.
They operate internally by a switch on your tx. Or they can be "y'd" to the throttle channel.

Here is the thread to my on-board glow system and it works extremely well. Simple, cheap and reliable. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_88...tm.htm#8908436
