Default beginner twin kit or ARF

I am fairly new to RC flight with an ARFtrainer and a four star flying this summer. I have a lot of model building experience from my younger years. It took me 3 months to complete akit four star 40 with Saito 56. I am interested in building a twin 2 or 4 stroke 40-60 this winter to be ready for next summer from a kit or ARF. I am looking for suggestions for something that flies well maybe with retracts and is relatively easy to build or complete. One of our club members made a four star 60 into a twin that flies very well another has suggested Top Flight Cessna 310 ARF. Any of you multiengineflyers with advice on this would be appreciated

I have looked at NE Aerodynamics and I noticed the Super Duelist ARF will be available soon. I like the lines of this model and the 80 inch wings as opposed to the 67 inch wingsof the twin 45. What do you think?

it all depends what you can afford.larger engines use more fuel a bit harder to transport.if you have the room and money then go for it.

This is what I did as an experiment for bashing my
Ultra Stick .120 into a twin. I think you can get the
Dazzler for about a $100. It's not so scale that I
really have fun with it. I have a second
de-commissioned Dazzler hanging on the wall
& and my buddy is giving me his Dazzler, for
future twin projects. It's one of my favorites.

Good Luck!

John

P.S. I just got back to my .25 size Warthog project. Twins are a hoot!

Hi!
I would say, as you are new to R/C flying...get some more years flying and building experience before you commence building/flying a twin.
It it vital that you know how to handle a aerobatic plane first. It's also necessary to gain lot,s of experience how to handle engines and setting up fuel systems.
It's also vital to know how to build and to build light! This means choosing the right equipment as well as knowing what parts could be replaced or removed so the plane gets as light as possible.

Just gluing part A to part B isn't the way to build a plane if you want it to fly well.
