TF contender kit bash to tri moter
Take two contender kits and put them together. Add a pod in the center wing. I have 3 40las laying around that I could use. Wings will join at flap edges. Will be a taildragger with possible mains retractable.
Thoughts?

RE: TF contender kit bash to tri moter
haha I will remember that.
Some thoughts on design. I'm thinking running engines side ways with pitts mufflers. What about removing the inside flaps and mount an engine backwards with a pusher prop? I can have dual tail wheels or a single one off the center of the horizontal stab. Would it hurt to include the outboard sides of the horizontal stabs?

It will fly just fine. I built my first profile, two-fuselage twin about 15 years ago. It is called the Pinwheel Twin and was kitted by Morris Hobbies. Excellent single-engine performance. I think it is on it's second set of engines. Just use over-sized, spruce spars on the center section and it will be fine.

Ok I think ive finalized my design.... 2 engines in front and one pusher in the rear and will be a tail dragger if I can get clearance on the rear prop
