P38 new build 90" wing motor mount

I am building the plane now and have 2 maybe problems

1# the manual shows motor as a side mount and a lot of cutting of the cowl
but there is lots of room if you mount them upside down and less cutting is this a problem?
using 2 91=4s
2# will i have to reverse one of the motors counter clock wise one of the guys at the field said I would??
not sure?
I have a Twin Star and have no problem

Thanks and have a great day

RE: P38 new build 90

1. Inverted motors run just fine, IF adjusted properly, use an OS "F" Type plug, onboard glow igniter would be a plus. 2. And NO you don't need to have a reverse crank in one motor for the plane to fly. Twins fly ALL THE TIME with two normal out of the box motors, spinning in the same direction....

and sure are glad that I don't have to reverse the motor never done that before would have to find out how to
then hold my breath if it would work.
