How many degrees of freedom are you looking for?

[link=http://www.lynxmotion.com/c-27-robotic-arms.aspx]Lynxmotion[/link] has some. One that is 5.75"
And the [link=http://www.lynxmotion.com/p-160-little-grip-kit-with-servos.aspx]Little Grip Kit[/link]

Also, try VEX kits to build you own.

Default RE: small robotic arm

Here's my simple solution. Its very basic, but I can pick up a lot of everyday items with it.

http://robotronski.webs.com/myfirstrobot.htm

Its an El-cheapo spring clamp from a dollar store. Remove the spring of course. I added some silicone rubber to the jaws so I can pick up small thin items also. Be sure and use some type of spring on your servo arm to prevent stripping servo gears. I need to upgrade my shoulder servo with a more powerful servo with metal gears.

PM me if you need any help.
