Question New project, Prop powered ski buggy, Need input

Working on this new project after I saw a photo of one like it.
I am not sure about the dimensions on the main body, I am wondering if it might be better if the "wheel/ski base" were shorter for a shorter turn radius.
Any thoughts or Ideas or Questions?

I wouldn't make it shorter. Shorter means more unstable and snow is never flat. I designed and built mine a couple years ago and never got back to finishing and testing more.
