Has anyone attempted to make an f-35/x-35 that can hover and fly normal.

I no nothing about rc planes, but wouldnt the vertical takeoff require a computer?

Do you think those turbine powered F22s use computers to fly ? The real F22s require computers ... the models don't... guess why ?
