I will look into that! Which setting do you use?! Stiffest?!

Ha, I like the snow plows!! I think Kyosho used to make one a long time ago... but the new Blizzard does not have that anymore!

Okay, so you are running the medium setting..

Description:

INCLUDES: Two Silver (soft) springs 72215a.
One black (medium) spring 72215b.
One Gold (hard) spring 72215c.
Four black spacers 72215d
One grease tube Z160
One instruction sheet.

But of course, it really depends on the size of the diff housing.. the gold spring might simply be too stiff if the diff housing is smaller on the Kyosho then the HPI, for example...

Still, I want to give the 100k diff fluid a try, though.. ha ha ha!!

The kyosho diff seems to be the same size as the hpi one. You can drive it on the strret but the traction is low

Hey guys i have one of the df-300s i bought it last year and built it before the winter. These things are SOOOOOO much fun. Seriously you dont need brushless. As long as you have lots of snow banks to climb you will never be bored of the speed. Making-trax is an awesome site and you should definitly be a member.

Right now i run my blizzard on the stock silver can, a LRP A.I. esc (waterproof), gp3700 7-cell battery, and a crappy am pistol radio.

The chassis does come assembled but there is some work to do!!

Go ideas are definitly better grease in the diff (i havent done this yet) and also putting some kinda of pad on the brakes so that it doesnt have as much power for stopping. You will see why this is a must once u get your df-300

Anyways another tip is to leave your blizzard outside for like 15-20 min before you decide to use it because if its at room temp and you drop it on the snow, the snow binds up in the boogies really fast. But a cold blizzard will cruise right threw.

Darn it needs a 3ch radio doesnt it? I only have one 3ch radio and it's in my pede, would hate to downgrade my best truck. Oh well, good luck on your build though, cant wait to see it Let's hope for some snow to try it in, last year was lowsy.

Yeah, you can run it on pavement. The kit comes w/ rubber strips that you can put on the track for traction on hard surfaces!

But at AZ, just run it in the sand!!

Get it, man!!

Jeez LB I get home and I see you have a new thread with 3 pages already....

If I could get it for that 200 dollars I'd get it but it's like not there's any great place to run one around here being rock and hard dirt.

It's not like it's a crawler haha!

You'd be surprised how well it crawl, for real!

Besides, you can run it in sand, grass, dirt, etc.

Put your Novak 5800 in it and you are all set!!

Haha the 5800 (err 8.5 is what I'm getting after I sell the 5800) will go in a Rising Storm. Then my other 8.5 will go in a Pro 2, that is if it ever comes out in a few months lol.

But I may consider it if it's only 200, the pro 2 is much coolier though[8D]

The Blizzard is pretty unique, I think you should add it to your collection!
